Wow, I'm feeling honoured!!! grin

Well, let's see my fave HK movie of all time is Swordsman 2, yes the movie that kickstarted the whole wuxia blitzkreig in HK before all the other immitators tried, failed and ruined the market! I'm honestly unimpressed by all the so called wire fu in Matrix, Crouching Tiger or Hero. In action, drama or overall epic quality this movie surpasses them all!

Any of these movies i'd love to see reviews on would be Hero which is my favourite movie, Infernal Affairs, Shaolin Soccer, Once Upon a Time in China and Future Cops - you either love it or hate it, i personally found it hilarious grin

Well... i would like to see reviews on the whole series, same with Infernal Affairs but i didn't want to mention too many films. I definitely agree with you there though.

Once Upon a Time in China was the first HK movie i ever saw and i was amazed by the action, i loved the story and the characters. Then i saw Once Upon a Time in China 2 which i also thought was great, it was a lot funnier and it was nice to see characters relationships developing. I was completely blown away by the Jet Li and Xiong Xin Xin fight thinking it was the last and then the Donnie Yen fight which was even better. I would probably say that Once Upon a Time in China 2 is the best martial arts movie i've seen so far. smiley

I realli.... like tht Donnie Vs Jet fight... one of the best screen fighting all time.... but I think Hero it was even better...
one thing i realli like bout OUATIC is tht it has this magical feelin in the series tht makes it a classic...
as for IA series.. i realli like IA, IA was good, but I noe most of u wont agree... but I think tht IA3 was the more meaningful of the 3. Yes IA was a great movie... but IA3 was more complex... and extremely postmodern filming that raises a lot of questions, tho not perfect but I luv IA3 on my second viewin....

Did any of you guys see The Village and Collateral? I liked the village a lot because of the old English they use and collateral was good although just short of being excellent because the ending seemed too rushed after so much buildup.

These two are some of the better films this summer I guess, I can't wait to watch Manchurian Candidate.

I must confess, the ending was good but it's nowhere near as shocking as what Adrien Brody did. For me that was the most gut wrenching moment in the whole movie. I'm still gonna buy the DVD just to see the love story, one of the best in some time.
